According to the statistics of the High-Tech LED Research Institute (GLII), 25 key listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen have a total operating income of 48.409 billion yuan in 2012, a year-on-year increase of 9%, and a total net profit of 3.933 billion yuan, down 18% year-on-year; In the first quarter of this year, the total revenue of these 25 companies was 9.888 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%, and the total net profit was 719 million yuan, down 3% year-on-year. The scale of the industry continued to grow and the downward trend in earnings slowed down.

Specifically, the net profit performance of midstream packaging and downstream application companies is better than that of upstream chip companies, mainly due to factors such as severe overcapacity of upstream chips and low operating rate of enterprises.

A research report by a securities company showed that both the chip and the packaging factory were in full load. The order visibility was 1~3 months, which was much better than the normal level, and some companies even took the initiative to give up the order.

Philips Lumileds, who is in the middle of the industry, has a steady stream of orders this year. Zhou Xuejun, director of the company's Asian market, said that the second plant in Penang, Malaysia, had started construction last year, but the orders on hand are still too busy.

Lighting market penetration will exceed 10%

For the reasons for the market recovery, Zhang Xiaofei believes that on the one hand, the global market has increased the acceptance of LED lighting, and the demand for export has shown rapid growth; on the other hand, the domestic commercial lighting market has begun to apply LED lighting products, while the public lighting market continues. promote.

"This year, the domestic LED lighting market penetration rate will exceed 10%. In 2015, this data will reach 35%. These data may be too conservative." Zhang Xiaofei said. Zhou Xuejun believes that the market penetration rate can not be generalized, depending on the market segment. At present, the market prospects in the field of public lighting and commercial lighting are relatively large.
