American microchip technology company has developed an incredible new system that can make things like house keys become a thing of the past. This new invention called "BodyCom" allows users' bodies to become part of the security authentication process, opening doors or other devices and equipment through digital means. BodyCom allows the body to act as a line to transmit the unlock code from a digital signature chip in the user's pocket to the touchpad they need to open the device. The future BodyCom can use the conductivity of the human body to determine whether they are authorized users. BodyCom does not need to use a battery, and all the current required to drive the chip comes from the base station and is transmitted through the user's body. This system can be used to open doors, safes and doors, as well as to activate power tools, computer systems, and even firearms. A person from Microchip Technology said that the system can be used for file management of computer games, or to develop a system that only allows pets to pass through cat holes to prevent foreign intruders. A company spokesperson said in an interview with the MIT Technology Review that an Italian company is currently integrating the BodyCom system with a motorcycle helmet to prevent car owners from driving without wearing a helmet.
