American microchip technology company (Microchip) has developed an incredible new system that can make things like house keys become a thing of the past. This new invention called "BodyCom" allows users' bodies to become part of the security authentication process, opening doors or other devices and equipment through digital means. BodyCom allows the body to act as a line to transmit the unlock code from a digital signature chip in the user's pocket to the touchpad they need to open the device. The future BodyCom can use the conductivity of the human body to determine whether they are authorized users.
