In a pure hardware configuration, these 2, 5, and 8-channel controllers can replace mechanical buttons with simple digital outputs, making it easy to add proximity and touch detection technology for applications where size, power, and cost are limited. For high reliability and more sensitive touch performance, including gloved operation, the MTCH102-5-8 capacitive touch controller is equipped with an advanced multi-level noise filtering algorithm. The MTCH102-5-8 controller supports a range of touch sensor shapes and sizes, automatically compensates for environmental conditions, and operates robustly in the presence of water. In addition, even with touch sensors with long board traces, active protection improves proximity sensitivity and ensures robust electronic design.
