In this setup, the SG3524 serves as a square wave generator, driving power transistors to convert direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). As a dual-ended output pulse width modulation chip, the SG3524 comes in a dual-row 16-pin in-line plastic package (DIP-16) and operates within a power supply voltage range of 8V to 35V.
