Meanwhile, 82% of participants expect AR to be accessible via smartphones or other mobile devices, rather than being confined to physical stores or specialized hardware. DigitalBridge CEO David Levine commented, "Although AR has been popularized by gaming and entertainment, it hasn't yet reached mainstream awareness. However, with Apple and Google both investing heavily in this space, we're at the beginning of a major shift. In terms of business applications, especially in mobile commerce, AR has greater potential than VR because it's easier to implement and more cost-effective. I believe we’ll soon see a new ecosystem of AR experiences emerge."
