The equipment is primarily composed of a motor, gear box, drive crank, connecting arm, lifting box, rubber casters, and an electrical control system with a digital counter for precise tracking. This setup ensures accurate and consistent performance during testing.

Operating Procedure

1. Adjust the distance between the connecting arm shaft and the caster to be 61 cm. Ensure the wheels are centered to maintain balance when the frame moves.

2. Position the weight box so that its center of gravity aligns vertically with the axle. This helps in maintaining stability during operation.

3. Place the cleaned load wheel on the scale, ensuring it is parallel to the frame. Then, place it into the weight box and adjust the total mass to 56.7 kg.

4. Lift the wheel, position the sample against the positioning pin, mount it onto the instrument, and secure it using the ingot nut.

5. Place the conforming wheel on the sample, start the instrument, and allow the wheel to roll reciprocally over the sample 1000 times at a frequency of 44 cycles per minute. If the sample becomes sticky or shows bright spots during the process, lightly spray water to prevent adhesion.

6. After completing 1000 rolls, stop the instrument, unload the components, and carefully remove the sample for further inspection or analysis.
