Analyst: Can you give an overview of Motorola's mobile patent portfolio?

Motorola Mobile CEO Sanjay Jha: We have more than 17,000 patents worldwide and many patent applications. Many patents are wireless standards, and many are patented around the competitive part of the market.

Analyst: What impact will this acquisition have on Android partners?

Andy Rubin: I talked to the top five Android authorized manufacturers, and they all enthusiastically expressed their support. Android cannot have only one OEM. Together with our current OEM partners, we created today's Android.

Analyst: How does Google deal with other vendors after it acquires Motorola Mobility?

Andy Rubin: Together with other partners, we have been very successful in promoting the Android ecosystem. After the acquisition of Motorola Mobility, our relationship with these vendors will not change, and Android will still be open to other vendors.

Analyst: Please express your opinion on the approval of this acquisition?

David Drummond, Google’s chief legal officer: This acquisition will certainly require the approval of regulatory agencies in the United States and Europe and may also require the approval of regulatory agencies in other countries. However, we believe that it will definitely pass. This acquisition is very beneficial to competition and can increase user choice. Soon we will submit the purchase agreement.

Analysts: After the transaction, what impact will it have on the prosecuted cases? How to get this purchase price? Why use full cash purchases instead of stocks?
