Wanzhou, Chongqing reinvested 1.35 billion annual output of 6,300 tons of polysilicon

Polycrystalline silicon producer Chongqing Daxin Energy Company just landed on the US mainboard and began a new round of expansion. Yesterday, in the Wanzhou District Salt Gas Chemical Industry Park, a large brand new energy investment of 1.35 billion yuan started the second phase of an annual output of 3,000 tons of polysilicon projects, the mayor Huang Qifan announced the start of the project and laid the foundation stone for it. After the project is put into production in 2012, the polysilicon production capacity will reach 6,300 tons, laying a solid foundation for future solar PV industry.

"After the second phase of the project is put into operation, it can add a new output value of 2 billion yuan, which is an important step for Daquan to build a billion-dollar photovoltaic industry in Wanzhou." Xu Xiang, president of Daquan Group, said that Daquan's polysilicon project in Wanzhou is planned to have a total investment of 6.7 billion yuan. The first phase and the first phase of the expansion project have been put into production, reaching a production scale of 4,000 tons.

As another important event of the “Conference”, yesterday we also held the construction of the Economic Center of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area and Chongqing’s second largest city development forum. Prof. Lei Hengshun, a professor at Chongqing University and deputy director of the Chongqing 12th Five-Year Plan Expert Consultation Committee, said that the three districts and counties in Wanzhou, Yunyang, and Kaixian have signed a "Wan Kaiyun" cooperation agreement, plus three districts. Highways have been built between the counties, forming a de facto half-hour county. “I suggest that in addition to writing Wanzhou into Chongqing’s second largest city in the 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan', it is also necessary to write Wan Kaiyun’s three district counties as an economic conglomerate.” Lei Hengshun Say.
