Fujitsu develops 12-inch Win 7 tablet

Fujitsu develops 12-inch Win 7 tablet Fujitsu today announced the development of a new DL Pad for the 12.1-inch Windows 7 tablet. Although it is primarily designed for the Japanese Dai-Chi Life insurance company for use in the B2B space, the new tablet is equally applicable to other commercial and personal applications.

According to the information released by Dai-Chi Life, the DL Pad weighs 950g, thickness is 14-20mm, runs Win 7 operating system, battery life is 7 hours, and built-in camera with USB interface.

In order to protect the security of data, the user can remotely lock and unlock the tablet. In view of its use of the Win 7 operating system, the DL Pad should use an Intel processor.

Fujitsu plans to ship 50,000 DL Pads for Dai-Chi Life.
