Silan Micro raises RMB 600 million to expand high-brightness LED chip production line

Recently, Silan Micro has not publicly issued 30 million shares, raising a total of 600 million yuan, which will be used for the expansion of high-brightness LED chip production line projects and the replenishment of working capital.

Silan Micro will issue 30 million shares at a price of 20 yuan per share. Among them, Baosteel Group's Majestic Warburg Trust Co., Ltd. subscribed for 9.9 million shares and became the second largest shareholder of Lanwei. Shanghai Tianhao Industrial Co., Ltd. Invested 64 million yuan to participate in the subscription, Guohua Life Insurance Co., Ltd. also subscribed for 3 million shares with 60 million yuan.

Silan Micro has increased its capital by 200 million yuan to Silan Mingxin, which is a project to expand the production of high-brightness LED chip production lines, and changed its registered capital from 200 million yuan to 400 million yuan.

After the implementation of the fundraising project, the scale of Silan's micro LED production capacity will be greatly increased, and the profitability of integrated circuits and discrete devices will also increase. The holding subsidiary Silan Mingxin can increase the production capacity of 600 million chips/month of LED chips and 47,500 pieces/month of epitaxial wafers, thus consolidating and expanding its leading position in the high-end fields such as LED indoor and outdoor full-color screens.
